Excavator Slewing Reduction Gear Mechanism
The slewing reduction gear mechanism of an excavator functions to decelerate and increase the torque of the power outputted by the slewing motor, thereby driving the upper turntable of the excavator to perform smooth and reliable slewing movements. When the slewing motor is in operation, its output shaft drives the small gear of the slewing reducer to rotate. Due to the meshing of the small gear with the large gear of the inner tooth ring of the slewing bearing, the small gear rotates around its own axis while also revolving around the central axis of the inner tooth ring of the slewing bearing. This revolving movement is transmitted to the turntable through the output shaft of the slewing reducer, thereby driving the upper turntable of the excavator to slew.
During the slewing process, due to the decelerating and torque-increasing effect of the gear transmission part, the power outputted by the slewing motor is fully utilized, ensuring that the upper turntable of the excavator can slew smoothly and reliably.
